Kids Across Parents Down, LLC (KAPD), a fast-growing
family entertainment products and events company based in Chicago,
offers entertaining, educational and enriching experiences to
families through newspapers, books, magazines, restaurant kids'
menus, consumer products packaging while contemplating agreements
for toys, games, calendars, wireless products and other formats
featuring our unique play patterns. With the national weekly
syndication of the Kids Across Parents Down crossword through Tribune
Media Services , the Company has become recognized in a few
short years as a major player in the newspaper space.
Launched in 2004 by president and executive editor
Jan Buckner Walker, our flagship puzzle is now known as “The
Original Crossword for Kids and Their Favorite Adults™.” Featuring
clues that are fun, funny and full of word play and popular culture
from movies, television and books, KAPD crosswords have become
a family favorite in the Los Angeles Times, Chicago
Tribune, The Washington Post, Atlanta
Journal-Constitution, Nickelodeon's
Nick Jr. Family Magazine and many other publications.
Now the KAPD family of games includes crosswords, word searches
and other word games. In 2004, Fast Company
Magazine recognized KAPD as Rising Star Company to watch
in its annual “Fast 50 Contest.”
